New York, USA (February 26th 2019) FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

We at Greensite are dedicated not only to protecting your home but to aiding victims of tragedies as well. One of the ways we show our support is by sponsoring the Tour de Force Memorial Ride. We at Greensite are so honored to be a part of the movement and contribute to such a worthy cause. We are proud in particular to sponsor one of our dear friends as she rides in the 2019 Tour de Force. Corinne has worked diligently to prepare for this ride, which will make her third in a row!

2019 Tour De Force

The Tour de Force Memorial Ride was conceived back in 2002 when NYPD Det. Robert De Paolis began to ride his bike as a memorial to honor the victims of 9/11. He was soon joined by a handful of others from the NYPD, Bronx District Attorney’s Office, and other support personnel. They rode from the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia to Ground Zero. Just a year later, it was incorporated in the state of New York as a nonprofit charity and then gained 501(c)3 status.

It has gone strong ever since and has grown to the impressive four-day, 280-mile trek it is now known as today. Three hundred law enforcement officers from across the country and abroad will make the journey from Yankee Stadium to Fenway Park. Each of them competes, with the help of friends and loved ones, to raise money and awareness for the families of officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. Not unlike the Tour de France, participants here prepare year-round, raising funds and training to make it as amazing an event as possible. Thanks to the family, friends, support team members and staff, and not to mention supporters from all over the globe, these participants can push as hard as possible to improve the lives of those suffering tragic loss.

Corinne has accomplished so much already, and we look forward to seeing her knock this one out of the park as well. Here she is in her own words:

I only do ONE fundraiser ride per year, and THIS IS IT!!!! I want to get a jump start with my fundraising this year, which is why I am sending this out earlier in the year then I have in the past two years. This will be my 3rd year partnering with the Tour de Force Bike Ride. This year I will be riding from YANKEE STADIUM to FENWAY PARK!!!!! I will be cycling for those that made the ultimate sacrifice while raising money for the 2019 Tour de Force Memorial Ride. I sincerely appreciate your support for this fundraiser. You can donate now and by hitting “Give Now.”

You can give any amount with any major credit card, and it only takes 30 seconds. Any amount makes a difference. Much appreciated !!

Thanks a bunch!!!!

She has already nearly reached her personal goal of $1,600 raised. The donation goal for the 2019 Tour de Force overall is $750,000. While that may seem steep, there are months left to go until September, and we know that with this fantastic community behind us we can do it. So we ask everyone to kindly join us in donating and rooting for Corinne and the other participants. If you’re in the area, stop by and cheer these brave officers on.

About Tour de Force

The “Tour de Force” was started in 2002 after NYPD Det. Robert De Paolis (ret) decided to ride his bike to honor the fallen police officers that gave their lives in the September 11, 2001 attacks. He was then joined by 7 other members of the NYPD and one member of the Bronx District Attorney’s Office and along with four volunteer support personnel, they cycled their way from the Pentagon in Arlington, VA, to Ground Zero, NYC.
